One more round of Christmas for us was when Grandpa, Nana and JuJu came the next day.
Every year Julie makes Mommy a picture book from the year.
Sophie loves to open presents too.
Nana actually made it in a picture this year!
And what was so funny to Grandpa??
Oh, just the fun Mommy had in decorating his Forbes subscription announcement. Geaux Tigers.
And the best of all was saved at the end for Mommy...a new STOVE! A real one. The ornament was just Nana's creative way in letting her know.
And, I think this baby is Christmased out.

Christmas Morning
Christmas morning Kendall and Brielle woke up to loads of loot left by Santa. (Really...Mommy was concinced he had lightened his load this year. I think she was mistaken. He just divided it in two.)
Kendall got all she asked for...a microphone...a pink sparkle purse...games...books and much more.
And Brielle got all she never knew she needed...a tote bag set for future overnight stays at the Grands...a school bag for next year...books...and a few other happies.
Kendall shows Brielle her prized pink sparkle purse.
Kendall loves Berenstein Bears.
Brielle loved her chew purse also.
And...SURPRISE...Mommy and Daddy gave Kendall her own REAL sewing machine!! Now she can sew with Mommy instead of begging to play on the real one.
And Brielle received a set of monogrammed towels. Another must for a girl.
So...the weather on Christmas Day was nasty. I mean thunderstorm warnings and tornado watches nasty. The Goza Fam was more than happy to hibernate inside all day in our jammies and play with toys (while Mommy desperately attempted to get the house put back together after Christmas blew up in the den).
And what is there to do all day??
Paint with the new set Santa brought...
Perform concerts on the microphone...
Concert round two...
Daddy even performed a few numbers...
Mommy and Brielle were the audience...
Indoor tennis...
And our tradition of taco soup for dinner...
There's no better way to spend Christmas than in jammies...no make up...all day with my three favoritest people in the world.
Merry Christmas!

Special Delivery
Remmeber
the hand print Christmas trees?? I did have a purpose for making two. One was for me of course.
But the other was for a stranger. Our mail carrier. I realized this person comes to our house every day (there's several that rotate but whatever) and this time of year is loading up our mailbox with seasons' greetings from tons of friends and family.
This year I've been trying to emphasize to Kendall about giving to others in the midst of a crazy season where it seems our culture, at least based on commercials, is wrapped up in getting. We've done a few acts of kindness for strangers and friends alike, and I felt like God was prompting us to give to our mail carrier this year as well.
Really, I'm not trying to brag at all. I so often get fixated on my own little world, my own four walls. And at Christmas is rears itself in obsession to capture the perfect Christmas card photo (didn't happen), purchase the ultimate gifts to make all dreams come true (totally unrealistic and budget busting), make the cutest teacher presents (they were semi-cute this year according to my standards) and hang the most beautiful Christmas decor thanks to Pinterest (I pulled a third of it out the box this year and slapped it up).
But I continued to feel prompted to give to a stranger when least expecting it. So here's the card we made.
Our mail delivery is totally random so I had no idea if we would make it in time for today's delivery. I prayed that if this was the day the mail carrier needed a little Christmas cheer then help up make it in time. And whoever needed it most, perhaps today is their route through our neighborhood.
Kendall and I DID make it in time. Please pay no mind to the red shirt, pink sweats and flip flops. We were too busy today to bother with minor details like bathing and dressing. We put it in the mailbox then ran back it as it was quite blustery today!
I was really hoping and praying that I would actually see the mail truck approach our house. But the likelihood of that was slim to none. But yall. Guess what?? Upon the tenth-ish time I peered out the front blinds I actually saw the postal truck arrive to OUR box! I think sometimes God orchestrates little things like these to remind us that He hears our every thought, He loves us, and He desires to work through us. I was so excited! I waited in anticipation as the mail lady shuffled her stack of our daily Christmas cards and holiday flyers before opening our box. She noticed our card and pulled it out as she shoved our loot in. And then...she sat there long enough to open it and read it! It totally made my day, and I hope she was blessed.
I'm reminded that we never know what's behind a smile, a tear, a kind word, or a cutting remark. We don't know others' joys or pains, or what God has blessed them with or required them to journey through. So be a blessing. Love instead of judge. Build up instead of tear down. Choose to be a blessing.

Christmas Cheer
Nothing spreads the holiday joy more than Pandora Christmas carols, hot chocolate, snacks and goodies and Christmas crafts. That's exactly what we did today. Talk about Christmas overload. And it was wonderful. Kendall and I both got in the Christmas mood.
I know, doesn't look like much festive holiday cheer here...
Or here...
Seriously, I don't know what her problem was. She refused to get her picture taken. But I did manage to sneak one of her stocking craft...
...and her Santa craft...
She really was in a fun mood. Not sure why she suffered from camera aversion.
For whatever reason, though, Grinch cookies seemed to lighten the mood and all was merry and bright.
Miss Sugar Plum showed off her handprint trees.
And here's the art to show for our day. I even managed to get a little tree from Brielle :)

Happy Five Months, Brielle!
It's here again! Brielle's monthly birthday!
Brielle is so ready to bust it loose and do everything her sister is capable of. The other day, using her stomach muscles, she pulled herself from a reclined position on the couch to an upright seated position. I wouldn't have believed it if I had not witnessed it with my own eyes. And Gabe claimed she stood holding onto the couch for a few seconds. I believe it. This girl is so ready to go. And I'm so not ready for her to be mobile. She's gonna keep me running for sure!
Here's some cuteness...
Some of her favorites:
- eating cereal from a spoon
- watching Kendall no matter what her big sis is doing
- waking up at 5am so snuggle with Daddy on the couch til about 6:30 (Daddy doesn't seem to mind too much. And one day he'll secretly miss those early morning snuggles)
- grabbing at Mommy's plate (one time she will be faster than me and will send it crashing)
- playing with her bare feet
- playing in her exersaucer
- going to church to visit with the other babies (no time for naps there!)
- riding around on Mommy's hip
And what screams Christmas louder than a poinsettia growing out your head??
Hanging with her Mommy...
And one more for the cuteness factor...
Happy 5 months, Briellie Bop!
