Recently we had a looooong (but mostly enjoyable) 48 hour snow day.
Since those are a rarity (and two days in a row is unheard of) around here, the girls were super excited.
It took longer to layer everybody up than it did to withstand the elements. But isn't that half the fun for Mama??
Kendall was all about the snow.
Brielle wasn't so sure.
If all the snowflakes were milkshakes and cupcakes, oh what a snow that would be!
Kendall and Daddy's mission was to build a snowman.
Here's Olaf. He likes warm hugs.
Brielle liked the snow much better when it was behind a pane of glass. She loved looking at it.
But eventually the snow became old news, and we spent way too much time in front of the tv.
But of course Mommy's teacher brain took over and we made Kendall's homemade Valentines and matching box for the school party (in three weeks). But seriously, what better time for a Frozen project than when we're all frozen??
And thanks to Pinterest the girls water colored the bathtub.
And of course Daddy helped them work puzzles and play games.
Everybody was ultra excited to return to school! To celebrate the girls wore their matching snowman shirts.
