'Lil Lady

The bundle of sweetness is TWO! And she's playing the part of a two-year-old very accurately. It doesn't take much these days to invoke a falling out or a trip to time out, but she sure can be sweet, too!

These pictures are so precious.  Partly because Brielle is part of my heart.

And also because here is Kendall at the same age!

Last Day of Preschool!

It's hard to believe that nine short months ago we were documenting Kendall's first day of K4 kindergarten...

Two inches grown and two teeth lost later...

...my baby is ready for BIG school next year.


It's even harder to believe that a few very short years ago she was preparing for her first day of MMO...

..all the while Mommy was dreading this day....

Beyond the physical maturity as is so obvious in these pictures, Kendall has grown so much mentally, socially and spiritually as these last years in our church's school program have made evident.  I'm so proud of the girl Kendall has grown to be who truly loves to learn and is learning to love like Jesus, as is the motto of our kindergarten program. Godly women have poured into her these last years and I am forever grateful.  My overflowing heart is prepared (I think) to send her off into her next journey of public "big" school.  I know she's prepared.  I know she's ready.  And I know God has a special plan for this sweet girl. But oh how I'm going to miss seeing her in the church halls.



And let's not forget this sweet rascal that has finished her first year on her journey as well.  Here's Brielle on her first day of MMO...

These sweet thangs sure are gonna miss hanging out together in Mommy's office on MMO days.  Poor Brielle is gonna be lost for the first few weeks I'm afraid.



But on a happy note...IT'S SUMMER!!!!

I'm desperately trying to catch up on my blogging since I kinda let it go this month.  I've had way too much on the brain to deal with (more on that another day).  So I will just post some catch up pics...

Nothing says sisterly love like one cup of ice cream and one spoon.  (Plus is afforded Mommy a few minutes to work in her office.)

 

 

The school photographer came again this year.  I wouldn't spend money to order this picture, but it sure cracks me up!

Mommy and Kendall.  Mommy, being an elementary education major, noticed some sure signs in her drawings for the first time that reading readiness has set in and it's just a matter of time til it all clicks: the feet touch the ground and a sky was added. Plus it's a picture of Mommy and Kendall!  Lurve.

It says "Keely Kendall are best friends."  Kendall pulled up Word (all by herself), upgraded the font size (all by herself), and typed this sentence (all by herself).


And while on the subject of "all by one's self"...you just never know what you'll see when you turn a corner around here.

Kendall received a postcard from Cinderella and all her princess friends letting her know how excited they are to see her soon.

And while on the subject of Disney, I CAN"T WAIT to see how cute they'll be in their matching outfit.  (Yes they have either matching or coordinating outfits for each day.  That's a requirement according to Pinterest when going to DW.)

Random Craziness

The Goza house is crazy lately. I feel like I'm constantly on the go, wiping noses and booties, cleaning messes, scrubbing floors, monitoring behavior, loading videos, reading books, bathing stinkers and cooking dinner. Yep, that about sums up my life this summer. There's some random outings, but now it's just easier to go crazy at home than go crazy trying to haul kids and paraphernalia around in the summer heat.  But despite the drop dead at the end of the day weariness to only wake up and do it all again the next day schedule, I'm loving these two girls.  All too soon they'll be at school every day so I'm choosing (mostly) to laugh at it all, take a deep breath, and desperately ask God for strength and wisdom for the day.

Here's some of the random craziness...

Kendall decided she and Brielle should have a campout in the laundry room on her new favorite Fancy Nancy pillow.

Brielle took the opportunity to do what she loves: check Kendall's teeth.  We swear she's going to be a dentist.  She's obsessed with people's teeth.

Bossy Big Sis finally got her on the pillow.  Kinda.

After watching four episodes of The Lucy Show, Kendall decided to play office.  She set her desk up herself with items from her room that consisted of: two phones (one modern and one like Lucy's), computer, clock, paper, glasses (to see of course) and pictures and decorations ("because every desk needs to have decorations" she said).  Within five minutes she was frustrated because the phone would not quit ringing long enough for her to "scroll the website looking at cute dresses".  Don't know WHERE she got that idea from.  I just hope she develops a better work ethic than that of Lucy Carmichael!

Here's the neighborhood rabbit that routinely shows up in our front and back yard.

Kendall's not supposed to pick her little sis up but she did for a quick picture.

Swinging in the back yard is fun this summer as well.  Kendall usually dictates how high and for how long Brielle can swing. 

I'm sure there will be much more random craziness to come this summer.  It's only begun!
