Toothless Grins!
The Tooth Fairy had a busy night at the Goza's recently!
At the end of a school day in mid April Kendall ran into my office and this is what I was greeted with! When I exclaimed she had a tooth missing (the lesser loose of the two) she argued with me!! It took a look in the mirror for her to realize her mama was RIGHT! All we can think is that while eating her carrot sticks her tooth popped out without her even realizing it.
While I cooked dinner, Kendall worked (and worked, and cried, and sobbed, and worked some more and cringed) on the original loose tooth that couldn't even stand up in her mouth anymore. FINALLY she mustered the courage to let Mommy reach in and gently lift the now detached tooth off her gum.
So suddenly the Tooth Fairy had double duty!!
Kendall wrote her note...
Left a tiny snack of star sprinkles, Snow Caps and a sip of Sprite,
placed the one tooth we had in a pillow, and went to sleep.
In the morning The Tooth Fairy left her $4 and a tiny, tiny, note that must have been written in 5 point font congratulating her on her exciting news!
She's growing up way too fast for these parents!!

April Catch Up
It seems lately I've been doing more catch up on my blog than anything else, but I guess that's just the way we roll these days.
So here's some more catching up...
One of Kendall's last pics with a complete set of baby teeth!!
Yes, Daddy is letting my baby barrel toward the street in a riding car.
One thing I love about my job is being able to see my kids at school.
Sneakin' a school pic with Briellie Bop!
Speaking of schools, we recently visited MC where we both graduated to go to a kids concert. Kendall loved learning about our college days!
Toothless...
Matthew West concert...
Her first crayfish boil...
A shirt that I would love to have, but don't think the hubs would be equally as excited about...
FINALLY I'm actually scrapbooking again...kinda...
Kendall's King Singer program...
(Kendall is standing next to a bff, Hannah, and another sweet friend, Meredyth, is in front)
I love these two sweet rascals, Walker and Grady. Can you tell Sunday School is fun this year?!
Speaking of Sunday School, Hannah and Kendall took turns being the teacher.

Easter 2014
We took a much overdo trip to New Orleans for Easter.
Kendall is now finally old enough to start appreciating the city her mama grew up in. We showed her Jackson Square, which is depicted in the New Orleans snow globe her D bought her when she was born.
But then we had to cut to the chase for the reason she was REALLY in the French Quarter...BEIGNETS!!
Kendall has mastered the art of beignet eating so as not to suck in nor spray powdered sugar when sinking her teeth into them.
Mama couldn't wait for beignets AND especially her frozen café au lait. There's just nothing that compares to it! I've been known to trudge blocks through torrential rains just to get one.
Not too bad!!
We took our annual family pictures with our favorite photographer, Tina! I can't wait to see what she captured. We hung around Audubon Park for a little while after and took a few of our own before heading to lunch (where Mommy got her fried seafood fix). Too bad there were no Brees sightings :(
Next we visited the aquarium. Both girls loved it!
Thankfully Michael was there to protect Kendall from the jaws of death!!
And of course it was so nice to spend Easter Sunday at my family's church.
But first the Easter Bunny had to visit!
Once again the Easter Bunny (and Nana) nailed it. Kendall got all things Frozen; Brielle got peeps which are affectionately referred to as "chick chicks" around here.
Happy Because of Easter, y'all!
