Kendall Conversations {vol. 15}

While Daddy was putting Kendall to bed, apparently he did something she deemed inappropriate...

Kendall:  Daddy Goza!

While pulling out the driveway to run errands with Mommy and seeing Daddy edging the grass,

Kendall:  I thought Daddy was going to cut the grass.  He's not.  He's weedering.

Kendall:  Mommy, I didn't eat much of my lunch today.  I didn't have an apple-tite.

This year Halloween costumes was a family act. Brielle was originally planning to be Jimmy Graham so she and Daddy Drew Brees could together be the Crescent City Connection.  But alas she was a cheerleader along with her sister.

Brielle doesn't cooperate in pictures these days.

Well, she'll cooperate if it's on her terms.

But here? No to dat!

We went to a local church to trunk or treat.

Kendall had a great time collecting candy. And I'm so proud of her because this year she wasn't scared of the costumes.

 

Brielle was a little stingy because she thought everyone was trying to take her one lone Twix instead of giving her more.

She was mighty proud of that Twix.

I'm sure next year will be a whole new ball game for her.

Making My List and Checkin It Off!

Cha-CHING! Christmas card family picture is scratched off my to do list! Oh how it makes my OCD heart just a flutter! My family was in town this week for a pre-Thanksgiving get together and we got the coveted, dreaded family picture.  And thanks to the fifteen month old, we got ONE PICTURE taken, and believe it or not, this was it...

I mean, seriously.  We should qualify for some Guinness World Record for a photo shoot that involves five adults, one child, and an uncooperative toddler to be mastered in less than one minute and one picture. Did we ever luck out.  Brielle just was going to have absolutely nothing to do with taking a picture.

Twenty minutes and much coercing and bribery later, this photo was captured for our card as well...

Then it was all about playing in the backyard.



Randomness

I'm desperately trying to catch up on my blogging since I kinda let it go this month.  I've had way too much on the brain to deal with (more on that another day).  So I will just post some catch up pics...

Nothing says sisterly love like one cup of ice cream and one spoon.  (Plus is afforded Mommy a few minutes to work in her office.)

 

 

The school photographer came again this year.  I wouldn't spend money to order this picture, but it sure cracks me up!

Mommy and Kendall.  Mommy, being an elementary education major, noticed some sure signs in her drawings for the first time that reading readiness has set in and it's just a matter of time til it all clicks: the feet touch the ground and a sky was added. Plus it's a picture of Mommy and Kendall!  Lurve.

It says "Keely Kendall are best friends."  Kendall pulled up Word (all by herself), upgraded the font size (all by herself), and typed this sentence (all by herself).


And while on the subject of "all by one's self"...you just never know what you'll see when you turn a corner around here.

Kendall received a postcard from Cinderella and all her princess friends letting her know how excited they are to see her soon.

And while on the subject of Disney, I CAN"T WAIT to see how cute they'll be in their matching outfit.  (Yes they have either matching or coordinating outfits for each day.  That's a requirement according to Pinterest when going to DW.)
