Just gearing up for football season (one of the four seasons in LA besides oyster, crawfish and hurricane). Kendall is showing her Tiger pride in her stylish purple and gold cheerleader uniform. Too bad her Uncle Lee is a Gator. But we choose to love him anyway. Nothing like a couple of obnoxious SEC fans for 'ya.
I'm teaching Kendall what the tiger says, "Roar!", along with little tear-you-up claw motions with her hand. We're getting there.
Ah, yes, my little G.R.I.T.S. For you Yankees out there living above I-20, thats Girl Raised In The South, or if you're REALLY special, Girl Raised In Tiger Stadium. It might be a while, though, before Kendall makes her first pilgrimage to a game in Death Valley. We'll just settle for t.v. for now.
And my two blogger buddies, Denise and Paul, just want you two to know that Kendall does have an Ole Miss cheerleader uniform as well in honor of her Daddy who makes big claims this year. I know that just makes your hearts flutter. Found it in a thrift store for a whole $4. Guess nobody wanted it??? But, she will be wearing purple and gold for the match up. Mommy gets the final say. Hee hee!
We're also gearing up for a HUGE birthday party this weekend. Can't believe my baby is not so much a little baby any more. More pics are sure to come next week.
