Thanksgiving 2009

Can't believe this is Kendall's SECOND Thanksgiving! Where has the year gone?? We celebrated in marathon style. We woke up at home. Mommy cooked two dishes, Daddy loaded the car, and Kendall laughed at Sophie making a spectacle of herself like she does every time she sees suitcases going out the door. We were on the road by 9am-off to Papa and Gigi's (one hour drive), and I felt like I had already put in a day's work!
Here is the Goza family. Pictured with us is Papa and Gigi, and Uncle Ben and Aunt Kimberly. Other aunts, uncles, cousins, and Gabe's grandfather joined us as well for lunch.

Kendall and cousin Savannah loved playing with the neighbor's cat. She was well tolerating of all the loving pats from them. Poor cat.

We loaded up in the car to continue our journey south (two hours). We stopped to visit with Grammy, and then headed on to my parents' (Grandpa and Nana) house (another hour and a half).

Whew! What a crazy, busy day. But it was wonderful to spend it with family. More pics from our stay with Grandpa and Nana are coming soon.
