We've been working hard on good manners, including when requesting something of an adult. For example, "Give me some juice" just aint gonna cut it and Kendall is well aware. So the below conversations has started similarly MANY times lately, but this one ended just a little different than usual...
Kendall: Mommy, get me some juice.
Mommy: No (in a reminding tone of that not being an unacceptable manner in which to ask)
Kendall: Mommy. Get. Me. Some. Juice...please
Mommy: Is that the way we ask for something?
Kendall: Yes, cuz I can't reach it myself.
Uh, not quite what Mommy was referring to. She did eventually get her juice. Eventually. When she asked appropriately.
