Kendall went to bed last week hoping to wake up to snow in the morning. In fact, she was so overwhelmed with anticipation that she attempted to rise and shine at 4:30. Um, no, back to bed my love. A mere hour and a half later at a semi-reasonable time, she was delighted to see a blanket of snow, thin as it was, beginning to accumulate on the front lawn. School was canceled and the upcoming snow day was going to be great.
Kendall and Daddy went out to examine the white stuff, throw a few snowballs and attempt to build a snowman of sorts.
Brielle went out just long enough for a picture. She wasn't as impressed as her sister.
Warm and dry back inside, we all enjoyed the snow while sipping hot chocolate. Too bad it was all melted by 9am!
This day marked Kendall's third snowfall in her life, and Brielle's first. Not too bad for a couple young southern bells!
