Oh Toodles, There's Teeters!

As defined by Kendall's dictionary:

teeter (n) - a child dressed in costume who rings the doorbell on Halloween requesting candy.  The teeters came to the door dressed in various costumes and holding "tandy" buckets.

Kendall figured out the whole trick-or-treating thing this year.  Decked out in her Minnie Mouse costume and clutching her prized Princess candy bucket she continued reminding me all afternoon:  head nodding as in agreement "Tandy...Margits...Bens".  To which I replied, "Yes, after nap we will go to Margaret's for candy and then Uncle Ben's for candy."

And, finally, that's exactly what we did.  We trick-or-treated at Margaret's house.

And Margaret had more than candy waiting for Kendall.  She gave her a stuffed Minnie Mouse as well. Kendall loved the Smarties and Mommy's KitKat.

Then it was off to Uncle Ben's (and Aunt Kim and Lleyton's) house.  I know this picture is really not great, but it's the best I managed to get.  Papa and Kendall had fun running to the door each time it rang to see all the trick-or-treaters.  Mommy had fun holding her 'lil punkin niece.

Kendall and Gigi played with Lleyton too.  Kendall loved her pumpkin booties and nominated herself chairman of the sock patrol.  Each time Lleyton kicked one off Kendall was quick to scoop it up and make sure Gigi safely, and quickly, put it back on her little cuz's foot. (Nana, is Sarge IV coming to mind yet?)

Then, of course, once back home there was enough time for one more piece of candy before bedtime.

And then Sunday we loaded up and headed to Papa and Gigi's for one more round.  This time Kendall visited her Papaw and Aunt Cathy.

And now it's time to eat all the goodies!
